Competition Summary:

The 2019 Coles Nitro Schools Challenge provides schools throughout Western Australia with the opportunity to enter teams of students in an exciting new athletics format. Top placed teams will then be eligible to represent their schools at the Coles National Nitro Schools Final, to be held in Perth on December 9th. The Nitro Schools Challenge is a modified athletics carnival featuring shorter and faster races, relays, and a powerplay system to make the competition more exciting for both competitors and spectators.

The event list, including new events highlighted in yellow, can be viewed below and can help schools determine how to compile the strongest team in each of the age and gender categories. There are no minimum or maximum limits on team entries per school, and schools are encouraged to enter multiple teams in the same age and gender category if they wish to maximise their chance of fielding teams in the Coles National Nitro Schools Final.
